Nair Urgent Care provides preoperative medical evaluations in Long Beach. Bring your surgeon’s written requirements so our clinician can review your history, examine you, and determine the next steps for your planned procedure.

Call ahead before your visit

Tell us your surgery date and the tests or documentation requested by your surgeon or surgical facility. We will help confirm which services are available and whether additional testing or specialist evaluation may be needed.

What to bring

  • Your surgeon’s orders, clearance form, and the procedure name and date.
  • Contact and fax details for your surgeon or surgical facility.
  • Your photo ID, insurance information, and current medication list.
  • Relevant medical records, recent test results, and specialist notes.

Evaluation and testing

Testing is guided by your clinical needs and your surgical team’s requirements. Call to confirm availability of EKGs and requested laboratory tests. Outside laboratory processing and additional records can affect completion time. X-rays are currently unavailable.

A pre-op visit does not guarantee surgical clearance. Additional evaluation may be needed, and your surgeon and anesthesia team determine whether to proceed.
